SKIESLIVE LLC is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of NOAA, NASA, SWPC, the U.S. National Weather Service, or other government agencies. Space-weather and storm information may be derived from public or licensed sources; follow official government and local emergency channels for authoritative warnings.
Data may be wrong or delayed
Weather, cloud cover, Kp and geomagnetic data, ISS pass predictions, sky-quality estimates, sensor readings, and notifications may be approximate, outdated, incomplete, or unavailable. Alerts can fire late, early, or not at all. Third-party data feeds can fail without notice.
Device sensors & sky pointing
Compass, augmented-reality, and “point at the sky” features depend on your device sensors and location. Interference and calibration issues can make orientation inaccurate. Use these tools as aids—not precision instruments.
Live observatory & streams
Live telescope views, all-sky cameras, and on-site sensor charts are available when equipment, weather, and connectivity allow. Streams may start, stop, lag, or fail without notice. We do not guarantee continuous live coverage.
Telescope & equipment control
Features that plan sessions or send commands to mounts, telescopes, or cameras (including in ApexHUD or similar apps) are used at your own risk. You are responsible for safe operation, manual override, and following manufacturer instructions. SKIESLIVE LLC is not liable for equipment damage or injury from automated or remote commands affected by software, network, or user error.
Location
Some features need an observing location (manual entry or device GPS). Permission is optional for many features; you can revoke access in device settings. See our Privacy Policy for how location data is handled and Terms Section 4.5 for usage expectations.
